Agency Name: Wiles and Wander Travel
Website: wilestravel.com
Effective Date: June 28, 2026
1. The Role of the Agency
Wiles and Wander Travel (herein referred to as "the Agency", "we", "us", or "our") acts solely as an independent booking agent for third-party travel suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, car rental agencies, tour operators, and theme parks (herein referred to as "Suppliers").
We do not own, manage, operate, or control any of the Suppliers providing your travel components. Your contracted services are subject to the terms and conditions specified by each individual Supplier. By engaging our services, you agree that the Agency is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, accident, delay, financial loss, or irregularity caused by the default, insolvency, or negligent acts of any Supplier.
2. Booking Accuracy & Legal Names
You are required to review all booking confirmations immediately upon receipt. You verify that the first, middle, and last names provided to the Agency match exactly the government-issued photo ID (REAL ID or Passport) that will be used during travel.
Name corrections made after tickets or reservations are issued often trigger severe Supplier penalty fees or result in the complete cancellation of the ticket. The Agency is not responsible for any financial losses or denied boarding resulting from inaccurate passenger details provided by the client.
3. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
It is the sole responsibility of each traveler to ensure they possess valid travel documentation.
- International Travel: Most countries require that your U.S. passport remain valid for at least six (6) months beyond your scheduled return date.
- Visas & Health: You are strictly responsible for determining and satisfying all visa, entry authorization (e.g., ETIAS/ESTA), vaccination, and health mandates for your destination and any transit countries.
The Agency will direct you to official government resources upon request, but assumes no liability for travelers who are denied boarding or deported due to improper documentation.
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
- Quotes: All quoted prices are subject to availability and dynamic supplier pricing until a deposit is successfully processed and a confirmation number is generated.
- Planning Fees: Any bespoke itinerary design fees or professional consultation fees charged directly by Wiles and Wander Travel are separate from Supplier booking costs and are strictly non-refundable once itinerary drafting begins.
- Final Payment: You will be provided a final payment schedule. Failure to settle outstanding balances by the Supplier's cutoff date will result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation and the forfeiture of any non-refundable deposits.
5. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Cancellation penalties and change fees are dictated strictly by the Suppliers involved in your itinerary. Many promotional airfares, cruise deposits, and theme park packages are 100% non-refundable from the moment of purchase.
If you request a change or cancellation, the Agency reserves the right to charge an administrative processing fee in addition to any penalties levied by the Supplier. Any refunds due will be credited to the original form of payment only after the funds are officially released to us by the Supplier.
6. Travel Protection (Insurance)
We consider the purchase of comprehensive Travel Protection to be essential. Travel insurance can protect your financial investment against unforeseen circumstances, including medical emergencies, trip interruptions, severe weather, supplier default, and lost baggage.
If you choose to decline travel insurance, you are required to sign an explicit Insurance Waiver acknowledging that you assume 100% of the financial risk for any disrupted or cancelled travel.
7. Chargebacks & Credit Card Disputes
By utilizing our services and approving a charge, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card issuing bank for any legitimate charge processed by the Agency or its Suppliers pursuant to these Terms. If you encounter a billing issue, you agree to resolve the matter directly with Wiles and Wander Travel. Should you initiate an improper or fraudulent chargeback, you agree to reimburse the Agency for all associated bank dispute fees, administrative costs, and legal representation required to reverse it.
8. Force Majeure
The Agency shall not be deemed in breach of this agreement, nor liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations, if such failure arises from acts of God, war, civil unrest, terrorist threats, labor strikes, global pandemics, extreme weather, volcanic eruptions, or governmental travel bans (a "Force Majeure Event"). In such instances, your sole recourse for refunds or rescheduled dates rests with the policies established by the individual Suppliers.
9. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which Wiles and Wander Travel maintains its primary business registration, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms must be filed exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
